A Quick Question For You
By: John Elder posted in Adsense
Hello good people!
Talk about a madhouse! That’s exactly what we’ve got here in downtown Chicago today. There are people EVERYWHERE. I guess it’s the last real weekend before Christmas so everyone’s rushing to get their shopping done.
I just got back from the yearly Christmas concert with Tower Brass at Fourth Church on Michigan avenue. I’ve been going to it as long as I can remember, it’s my main holiday tradition, I guess you could say. It was a little weird this year because they moved it to the middle of the afternoon. Usually it’s a night, but whatever.
Well yesterday was down a little in terms of earnings. Saw $87 in Adsense earnings and $20 in Amazon commissions (off 8 items purchased at $282). That’s still a daily grand total of $107 which is nothing to sneeze at, but whenever Adsenese drops below $100 I get a little antsy.
I’ve got a question for you…
I don’t really have anything to write about today because I’ve been running around all day doing errands, battling crowds, and hitting that Christmas concert. Instead I thought I’d take a moment to ask you all what you’d like me to focus on writing about next?
With the new year coming up, I thought it might be a good time to take stock and ask all of you exactly what you’d like to read about and learn about.
So…what would you like me to write about?
Drop a comment below, or send me an email using the Contact Form here at the website.
- Are you interested in more concrete examples of site templates?
- Maybe more articles about my general strategy?
- What about specific webhosting articles and web server setups?
- Do you like mailbag Friday? Want me to answer more questions? Less questions?
- Are you completely sick of hearing about my earnings every day?
Just let me know what’s on your mind. I’m here to help you guys, afterall. Without you there’s absolutely no reason for this website to even exist, so let me know what’s on your mind, I’d really appreciate it.
Keep on building!

Hi John
Finding your blog has been about the best IM thing I’ve found all year!
For me, more template examples and a bit of coding to automate the processes would be great! This blog is going to be huge, so don’t spresd yourself too thin.
Cheers
