Holiday Adsense Cheer
By: John Elder posted in Adsense
Hello good people!
It’s only five days till Christmas! Today I’m going to grab my girlfriend and try to get in one more trip down to the Christkindlmarket for some hot spiced wine and Christmas fun before it ends.
Two days ago we saw monster Adsense earnings, and it looks like we followed it up yesterday with another huge day. Adsense brought in $121 which is nice, but amazon was the clear champ of the day with $61 in commissions (off of 21 items sold for $872). That was clearly one of the biggest amazon days of the shopping season so far, easily.
That brings yesterday’s grand total to $182 which is just slightly less than the day before’s $190.
What an amazing holiday shopping season so far, all the way around. And remember, we’re in the middle of the worst recession in the history of the world!
North Korea is in disarray following the death of their dictator, Europe is sinking in debt woes that threaten to derail their entire federation, Russia is sending troops into Moscow to quell rioters after fraudulent elections, China’s property bubble is nearing collapse and we have reports of some 20,000 small riots a week or more throughout their country, and here in America our own politicians are seemingly doing their best to destroy the American way of life and cripple what’s left of the economy with draconian business-killing regulation….but shoppers keep buying holiday gifts and advertisers keep paying to run ads!
You’ve got to love this business!!
I don’t really have anything important to write about today. I get a little lazy around the holidays, luckily Adsense allows me to be as lazy as I want and still keeps pumping out money!
I’ve got one question for you…
I might not have much to say today, but I do have a question for you. It’s a simple question but it’s incredibly important…ready? Here goes…
How many websites did you build yesterday?
Well?
None?
I had a basketball coach when I was younger who used to tell a story. He said that when he himself was a kid his dad created a basketball practice session for his son (my coach) to do everyday. It consisted of shooting so many free throws, so many jump shots, and so many three pointers (well, they weren’t called three pointers back then but you get the idea).
He called it “his shots”.
Every day when my coach’s dad came home from work, he’d ask his son “did you get your shots in today?”
And that’s all he’d ask. He wouldn’t berate his son on days when he didn’t get “his shots” in, he wouldn’t praise him when he did. He’d just simply ask “did you get your shots in”.
My coach said that even though his father never scolded him or said a single word about it…on the days when he didn’t get those shots in he felt ashamed to tell his dad that he hadn’t practiced.
Building websites is our “shots”. You’ve got to build every day consistently if you want to make the big bucks…
So…did you get your shots in yesterday?
Keep on building!

Nice post John, Is very motivating to see your earnings everyday, keep it up!
Personally yesterday I couldn’t build any website because my windows went crazy and I had to reinstall it. But today I started building some sites, so far 5. I Think im going to go until 10. Is a little difficult to begginers find a motivation because we build but we don’t see any earnings, and thats is when your website come in, you are my motivation dude.
I hope your empire keep growing and never change your mindset of helping people, is very rare to find people like you.
John, I have a question. Why in your earning reports you have a numer of 300 websites? aren’t you building any more websites?

Thanks for your words, glad I could help motivate you!
I recently built another 50 or so…I’ve been busy with other projects and investments, and truthfully I’ve been a little lazy. I’ve been working on a bot to automate almost the entire site building process. I really have about a half a day worth of work left to do on it before it’s done. I just need to stop putting it off and do it. After that’s finished, I’ve got about 2,000 domains to turn into sites, and I’ll do that using my bot at a steady pace over the next couple months…
See, now you’ve motivated ME to get building!

Hey John,
Found your blog recently and I find it thoroughly interesting 🙂
So after reading about 2-3 posts (including this one!) – I started two websites. One will focus on a very particular type of clothing for specific people and will monetize with Amazon Associates program. (I might put a very small AdSense block if it does not look spammy too).
The other one does not really have a monetizing angle, but it’s supposed to be a quick entertainment site. I just started it out of interest/curiosity.
I found your .info buying spree and overall system interesting and I think I will certainly focus on that on my next project. I have subscribed to your blog and will impatiently wait till your upcoming posts!
Thanks again John!
