Secret Thanksgiving Adsense Tip

Hello good people!

And a very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in the United States, and a happy Thursday to everyone else! Hope you’re enjoying the holiday with your friends and family.

I’m going to make today’s article short and sweet, because there’s turkey to be eaten! I wanted to give you a little gift in the form of a special trick that you can use to get .info domains for only $.67 each from Godaddy.com.

This trick doesn’t always work, but it has for the last few months or so.

It’s a good one…

Here’s what you do. Go to Godaddy.com and search for a domain name that ends in .com, it doesn’t matter what it is (pick something that’s sure to be available like iliketoeatcutepuppies23.com or something).

Then follow the shopping cart checkout procedure. Before you pay, but towards the end of the checkout procedure, you’ll see a box appear on the right hand side of the screen that says something like “Add These Domain Names….” and then it will show a list of the same domain name with different tld’s like .net .org .info if they are available.

You’ll notice at the bottom of that little list there’s a box you can check that says “ON SALE! iliketoeatcutepuppies23.info $0.49” or whatever the domain name that you’ve chosen.

Click that box, to add the .info for only $.49 cents. (It’s actually $.67 cents because there’s an .18 cents ICANN fee added on at the end).

Here’s the tricky part…

Don’t checkout with your order yet. Instead, go to your shopping cart and delete the original .com domain name. You still get the .info for only $.49!

Here’s the REALLY tricky part…

Next click the “Domains” link at the top of the screen, then when the menu pops up, click the “Bulk Domain Registration” link. A box will pop up that allows you to type in as many domain names as you want (be sure to type only .info domains). Type in ten, twenty, one hundred, five thousand, or however many you want…

And when you checkout, you’ll see that it costs just $.49 cents for each of those domains. (well, $.67 actually – but you get the idea).

I have no idea how long this trick will work, but I’ve been using it for a few months to buy thousands of domains for only $.67 cents each.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Keep on building!

Nice trick John working like a charm!

One question, do you use private registration for your domains?

          Hi Emanuel!

No I don’t use private registration – even when they offer it for free (they always sock you a year later with huge costs). Google owns a domain registrar so it has been suggested that they can peer past your private whois registration information if they want to.

But the main reason I don’t use it is because I don’t have to. What I did was set up a P.O. Box at my local post office. It costs about $20 per six months. Then I set up an anonymous and free Google Voice telephone number. I register each domain using the domain itself as the company name contact, then list that P.O. Box and Google Voice telephone number.

That pretty much assures my privacy without needing to bother buying private registration for my hundreds of domains.

Absolutely brilliant! I’m always afraid of clicking through that maze for fear of ending up with one domain and $400 worth of charges. Thanks for sharing that. Now I just have to come up with my list of 100 domains to buy. Do you have a tool that figures this out too?

Hi Christina, glad you liked that one 😉

No I don’t have a tool for picking domains…I usually just pick broad topics, like cordless drills, lawn mowers, etc. Walk around a store and write down things you see. That works for me! Picking product niches is key…. you want to build sites that focus around things people buy.

      Good luck!
